A couple of musical treats for today, from J. S. Bach and Sigfrid Karg-Elert.

    Thank you for the virtuoso performances! I especially enjoyed the first, arranged by the incomparable Virgil Fox. My father, also a church organist, went with a friend to hear him at Riverside Church, back in the 50′s.

    As a hymnologist, my focus has been more on the text of our hymns and the authors. But this was a musical treat not to be missed. Thanks again.
